H.A. Rey Inspired Chalk Talks with Nat Scrimshaw

I was lucky to grow up with Margret and H.A. Rey, the authors of the "Curious George" books, as neighbors. This included frequent visits to Hans' studio, playing "leap frog" in the local pool, and nights out stargazing. One of my fondest memories is the experience of Hans' chalk talks: Hans quickly sketching some of his famous characters on a large sheet of paper while chatting with the audience. To honor my memory of the Reys, I have recreated this experience for children today.

I currently limit my chalk talks to hospitals in the United States and around the world, fundraising for nonprofits, and my "home" studios in Costa Rica and New Hampshire.
